Hi I’m Lea! I started photography in high school in my yearbook class. I thought it was just going to be the easy class and it turned into my love for all the details and sporadic moments! My mom got me a decent camera on QVC and as my life changed from entering college I knew it was something I wanted to continue. I had set my career on becoming a forensic photographer because my love for true crime and photos made sense in my mind to tie together. After my school dropped the photography major and I continued dance (I danced for 20 years) I lost my drive for that creative outlet. I've always been creative in some way, but photography felt different. After graduating and my dance career ceased I invested in myself and my photos once again. It's the dream that I didn't know I had. That click I make and being able to capture a split second WOWZA! It's my happiness.
I'm a go with the flow Sagittarius that lives on the East Coast with my lovable pups, and amazing boyfriend. I am also a site director at a youth crisis shelter for at risk youth. Im the right amount of beautiful chaos.
WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
I have learned in my adult years that I crave THAT feeling. The one that makes you jump up and down, makes you curl your toes, the occasional cry or smile you can’t contain. You may not see the perfection but Im seeing every second that makes your moment yours. The windblown hair as you walk towards the love of your life, your tear stained face as you read your vows to one another, the butterflies in the pit of your stomach, the hug of your little one, feeling the peace of one another. Let’s cherish these big and small feelings over nicely tucked shirts and robotic stances. Im gonna make you “shake it out” before every session. I promise!
